What the Flux?!!?
Sidenote. This is me. I'm a milk machine. End of sidenote.
So I'm learning about 3000 new things a day.
A few days ago, Griffin started getting really fussy at night. And spitting up. A LOT. And projectile vomitting curdled milk. And his breath got really stinky like spoiled milk. And he started acting really fussy when he was eating. And has been uncomfortable because he's so gassy even when he burps a lot.
I took him to the pediatrician and he has acid reflux (just like his Lola). Who knew babies could have acid reflux? Apparently, tons of babies have it, but some have it worse than others.
Griffin is now on Zantac and Prevacid and so far, no more projectile vomitting, less fussing. Just some normal spit up. Woohoo!!

Hi Les...That probably explains why he(Griff'Dogg)likes to sleep a little bit upright (carseat), because it's more comfortable,rather than sleeping laying down. The acidity stays down in his belly instead and makes him feel a little bit better. Hopefully he will outgrow this problem. You and Billy are doing great being new parents! Griff is so precious and I hope to meet him soon! Love :-) Aunti Ed
I remember sleeping sitting up with one of the kids sleeping on my stomach - like I was carrying them like a momma kangaroo - to finally get them to sleep (I can't remember which one of them, cause I think that time of their lives was a total blur of sleepiness for me). Hang in there, sleep will come eventually ;-)

Hopefully the medication will help soon! We had a fairly good night last night although I still had time at 3 am to watch some pretty bad movies on TV.
Oh ... poor little guy! :(
BTW - your celebrating "spit up"... you know that, right? Normal spit-up or not ;)
It's okay - all new mom's are mental. I used to feel sooooo victorious whenever Ethan pooped or burped. Like I had accompished the most wonderful thing in the world. Mental :)
